IS THERE AN AIRPORT NEAR SAN DIEGO?

Yes! You can fly right into SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and the Constitution is only 15 min away.

 

CAN YOU RECOMMEND SOME HOTELS NEAR THE BOAT?

We recommend staying at The Sea Harbor Hotel. They offer a discounted rate for fishing anglers and family.

PARKING 

There is paid parking available in the gated lot outside H&M Landing. Rates vary and are paid directly to ACE Parking. There are kiosks on site or you can download the ACE app.

WHAT CAN I DO IF I PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY?

There are many restaurants near the landing to eat at. You are able to check in at the landing early and purchase any licenses required. If you need to rent gear you can do this directly at the landing prior to boarding.

 

BOARDING

When you arrive, line up with your group wherever the office prefers you to line up. A crew member will notify your group when it is time to board, this is usually 30-45 minutes before departure. Bunks are not assigned, they are first come first served, or however your Charter Organizer has arranged it. Please sign in on the manifest in the galley when you board the boat. Please do not board the Constitution without talking to the crew first as there is no early boarding permitted.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES

Overnight Arrive 3 hours prior to departure, boat leaves at 9pm. You will fish the next day from sun-up to mid-day. ETA is 6-7pm the day you fish on.

 

1.5 Day Arrive 3 hours prior to departure, boat leaves at 7pm. You will fish the next day from sun-up to sundown. ETA is 6am the 2nd morning.

 

2 Day Arrive 3 hours prior to departure, boat leaves at 10am. You may fish potentially that night, then sleep overnight on the boat, and wake up to fish the 2nd day sun-up to sundown. ETA is 6am on the 3rd morning.

 

2.5 Day Arrive 3 hours prior to departure, boat leaves at 7pm. You will fish the next 2 days from sun-up to sundown. ETA is 6am the 3rd morning.

3 Day Arrive 3 hours prior to departure, boat leaves at 10am. You may fish potentially that night, then sleep overnight on the boat, and wake up to fish the 2nd day sun-up to sundown, wake to fish the 3rd day sun-up to mid-day. ETA is 6am on the 4th morning.

FISH PROCESSING

The boat fillets fish onboard  for a fee.

Prices vary according to size.

CREW GRATUITY

Its is customary to tip the crew 18-25% of your ticket price

DO I NEED TO BRING BEDDING?

Yes everyone needs to bring bedding onboard a pillow and a sleeping bag works best.

​

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

A pair of rubber deck boots. A change of clothes, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, seasickness remedies and/or medications prescribed to you and personal toiletries/towel. You will need a current CA fishing license. You can purchase one at the landing or look up your local tackle shop or sporting goods store if they offer them.

FUEL SURCHARGE

We may request to collect a fuel surcharge at a rate of $20 per person, per day. This may fluctuate with fuel cost and trip duration. This will be collected when you board the Constitution. We will do our best to notify our Charter Organizers far enough in advance for their group to adequately budget this expense.
